How to Request Account Deletion
To request deletion of your Chiblu account and associated data, send an email to our support team:

Include in the email body
- Your registered phone number or email address
- Your store name (for seller accounts)
- Reason for deletion (optional)
Processing Time
- •We aim to acknowledge your request within 2 business days.
- •We will verify your request and then process it as soon as reasonably practicable, subject to applicable law and our data-retention obligations.
- •You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.
- •If you have pending orders, we may ask you to wait until they are fulfilled before processing the deletion.
What Data Gets Deleted
Upon account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed:
✓Your profile information (name, email, phone)
✓Store settings and branding
✓Product listings and images
✓Messages and conversations
✓Wishlist and saved items
✓Login sessions and tokens
✓Analytics and insights data
✓KYC documents (PAN, bank details)
What Data Is Retained
Some data may be retained for legal, tax, and regulatory compliance:
Order records and transaction history — Required under Indian tax and GST regulations for up to 7 years
Payment and invoice records — Required for financial auditing and GST compliance
Subscription payment history — Required for accounting and tax purposes
Retained data is anonymized where possible and stored securely. Personal identifiers are removed from retained records after the mandatory retention period.
Important Notes
- •Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. You will not be able to recover your account, products, or store data.
- •Active subscriptions will be cancelled. No refunds will be issued for the remaining subscription period.
- •If you have an outstanding balance, it will be settled before account deletion.
- •You may create a new account in the future, but none of your previous data can be restored.
